It was ten years ago today that I launched the original Geoweasel site with their first comic adventure. Over time it has grown from a crappy pixel comic, to drawn comics, to animation. Things have changed a lot and are still changing (that one on the left was painful to draw) and I hope to keep bringing new cartoons. We’ve definitely hit some bumps in the road; the past couple years have been almost entirely inactive, so I almost feel like this anniversary doesn’t “count.” Because of my personal issues, I often have times working on things even though I’m very passionate about them. I am constantly at odds with my own ideas as I never feel like anything is good or interesting enough. And while I don’t think the series is going to be as prominent in my life as it once was, it’ll still be going on, just alongside other projects like other series and short one-shot cartoons. I do intend to bring a pretty awesome cartoon to commemorate this occasion, and I would certainly love to keep doing other Geoweasel cartoons. So until then, keep an eye out, and thank you to everyone who has been supportive along the way.
So here’s another little drawing tonight I guess, for the cold times. Nothing particularly special, just a small doodle that I ended up adding color too and some extra stuff. And when I say small, I mean this was the original size:

I like drawing things that look like they could be used for promotional pictures or concept art but really aren’t.
I really can’t get myself going. I have no energy. I want to make stuff, but I’m surprised I could get this much done.
I couldn’t post this before because it was a Christmas gift for Sherry, but now I can share it. It’s of her character Ella Bella Dora, whose design I love. Unfortunately though, certain things in the image were supposed to be glowing (like the mushrooms) but they got all messed up and jpeg-y…
