Nintendo "human resources" must approve your Miiverse posts • News • Wii U • Eurogamer.net →

Miiverse seems like a pretty awesome idea overall…but they did fail to mention THIS in their presentations. Each post will take about 30 minutes to show up because it has to be approved. You know, to make sure you’re not cursing or drawing any pictures of dicks. Which is inevitable. You think there haven’t been a ton of those in stuff like Swapnote already? Of course there has! So maybe, instead of Nintendo monitoring everything, if you’re a child, shouldn’t there be some parental controls to maybe just block out certain features of Miiverse that could be harmful? I mean…well, if you saw the Nintendo Direct conference on Sunday, you saw that there’s even video chatting in this service. You’re going to make that readily available to kids? How do any of us know we’re not going to get connected to some guy with his cock out? Nintendo can’t censor everything. Some of it falls on the parents. And I don’t think they really care anyway since there are 10-year-olds talking about fucking people’s moms on Xbox Live already.
